The Law Offices of Carmen Rodriguez, P.A. represents private and public sector employers in all aspects of labor and employment law.  Firm members have experience in state and federal courts on issues including Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as well as other state and federal laws relating to employment.  In addition to litigation, the practice includes proceedings before the various federal, state and local agencies, including the U.S. Department of Labor, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, the Florida Commission on Human Relations, the Florida Public Employees Relations Commission, the Florida Unemployment Appeals Commission, the Division of Administrative Hearings, the Broward County Human Relations Division and the Miami-Dade County Equal Opportunity Board.  Further, firm members have experience in union avoidance strategies, arbitration, collective bargaining, contract negotiations, preparing drug testing programs, and developing personnel policies.  The firm is “AV” rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
