Florida's minimum wage will increase to $8.56 per hour effective January 1, 2020. The minimum wage for tipped employees who qualify under the tipped employee credit will be $5.54 per hour.

The Department of Labor’s new white collar exemption regulations will not go into effect on December 1, 2016.  A Federal Judge issued a nationwide hold on the implementation of the new threshold salary requirement.  We await further court action on this issue.
