Effective 1/1/20 New Salary Threshold

Effective January 1, 2020, new wage and hour rules are going into effect that increase the required minimum salary for salary exempt status. The new minimum salary that must be paid to employees to qualify as salaried exempt will increase to $35,568/yr. ($684/weekly). The salary increase does not affect the job duties test.
